Private Lessons

Private lessons are taught by our seasoned instructors, and are tailored to the abilities of each student. Since 2020, we have had over 340 lessons take place with students ranging from 7 to 79! Whether it is your first time on a boat, or you’d like a refresher on the basics, we can help. We offer private lessons on any of our vessels. Private lessons are available one-on-one, with the option to add additional participants (dependent on boat size).

Lessons are open to all, regardless of residency or membership status.

To ensure a safe and efficient experience please bring a life jacket to the SYC. All lesson participants are required to wear life jackets while on our boats, regardless of age or swimming ability. Members get discounts, sign up for a membership here: sherbornyachtclub.org/join
