Watercraft Basics
Explore Farm Pond under the guidance of one of our experienced staff members aboard our paddle vessels. Whether you’re looking to improve your technique or just want a buddy on the water, our team is here to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and informative outing.

What to bring to your lesson:
“can-do” attitude - mistakes are meant to be made!
well-fitting life jacket (we recommend Type III)
water bottle
sunscreen
close-toed shoes
To ensure a safe and efficient experience please bring a life jacket to the SYC. All lesson participants are required to wear life jackets while on our boats, regardless of age or swimming ability. Members get discounts, sign up for a membership here: sherbornyachtclub.org/join
